- The Regulation of Bodies with competencies in matters of Quality of the UMH collects the functions and obligations that the staff of the Quality Service must attend to. Said Regulation contemplates that the evaluation and quality improvement activities that are carried out must have the approval of the Quality Council of the University.
- The work methodology to be applied will be that of the evaluation and improvement cycle. Support for evaluation and review processes for the sake of continuous improvement constitutes the basic work methodology. The promotion of the culture of quality improvement is one of the obligations that the staff must assume.
- The staff of the Quality Service will ensure the respect deserved by the intellectual property of scientific and technical works that they must use in the exercise of their functions.
- Teamwork and the search for the greatest effectiveness and efficiency, proposing innovations and showing improvement initiatives, are premises that must guide all the actions of the Quality Service staff of the UMH.
- The decisions adopted within the scope of the competencies of the Quality Service of the UMH will respond to the public interest. In case of conflicting interests, or any other private interests that could affect their work, these must be manifested with diligence.
- The staff of the Quality Service of the UMH must maintain confidentiality of the data and information available to them by reason of the evaluation and control actions carried out, as well as maintain relations based on honesty and responsibility.
- Reasonably all actions and decisions will be subject to documented procedures. Likewise, the standardization of evaluation tools and the use of reliable and objective indicators of university quality will be promoted.
- The Quality Service of the UMH will maintain a responsible communication and information policy of its activities. This communication policy will include information on the results of the evaluations and improvements achieved, under the principle of respect for the confidentiality of individuals and the knowledge by the interested parties of the data and information that could affect them.
- The staff of the Quality Service of the UMH will ensure a reasonable use of the resources available, collaborating in the maintenance of infrastructures and equipment.
- The staff of the Quality Service of the UMH will strive to maintain ideal conditions to efficiently perform the assigned tasks, conducting an evaluation of technologies before their incorporation, to ensure an efficient use of them. Likewise, they will ensure the updating of their knowledge in order to satisfy the technical demands that arise.
